Tomorrow

Tomorrow is the day! She will be surgically inseminated. Faith's progesterone level doubled overnight it went from 5.13 to 10+. 

Yesterday after hearing the results, I had kind of set my sights on next Tuesday as the day she would be inseminated. So I was happy when I heard her levels had doubled and ovulation had occurred. Since it is being done surgically I will naturally worry a little, but I know she is in good hands. If all goes as planned, Dr Jim will do the surgery. Faith and Dr. Jim have a friendship that started in July of 2008 at the Duluth dog show. She will be happy to see him again.
Faith has another very special person in her life: Amy at Dr. Jim's clinic (IGHAC). I had been a while since Faith had been to IGHAC. On our way to the first blood draw, I was talking to Faith and wondering if Amy would be working that day. Much to Faith's delight she was. When Faith saw Amy she gave her the biggest smile I have ever seen! She continued to grin as long as Amy paid attention to her. (I'll have you know, Faith does not smile at me that way! I have to say, I’m a little jealous.)
Well, keep us in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow. It will be 28 day before we know if Faith is pregnant.
