May Day
The date has been set. The puppies will make their transition to their Foster Homes on May 1st- May Day. It will be a day to celebrate!
It is hard to believe how fast time passes. Each puppy’s personality is starting to shine. When they were new born I was surprised at how noisy they were. Now I am surprised how quite they are. They are starting to use one corner of their pen to eliminate and sleep and play in the other areas. Last night a couple of them were running and doing some classic puppies moves. One has the exact same vocal sounds as Faith. Two like to clean the other puppies. One is a clown. Two are reserved and sweet. They all like to be rubbed and cuddled. They are growing up so fast.
Here are their weights as of tonight (4-9-09):
Sparkler- 5.14 lbs
Cherry Bomb- 4.59 lbs
Little Bang- 5.05 lbs
Peanut-3.40 lbs
Rocket- 4.92 lbs
Radiance- 4.54 lbs
Diamond- 5.47 lbs
Roman- 5.42 lbs
Dee Dee-5.20 lbs

Recent Changes
At this stage (3 1/2 weeks) the puppies are becoming more active. They are more steady on their feet, eating three meals a day, paying more attention to what and who is around them.
They are starting to interact with each other and play.
They are starting to interact with each other and play.
Running is not as easy and right now is more like a bunny hop, but it's time to learn.
To help socialize them I added this children’s toy for the rattle sounds, the music it plays, the lights that blink and to see if they would interact with it.
