Pictures of Faith as a Puppy

Last weekend the whelping box arrived, this weekend we are getting the expert advice from Cheers’ Staff and getting the guest room ready for visitors. As part of the preparation I took out the disk of pictures Tiga (Faith’s Mom) Foster Home took of Faith’s litter. I figured it would be nice to share some of Faith’s puppy pictures with you. Each puppy is marked with a special mark. Faith’s was pink left shoulder. Here are some of the pictures I found of her.

This a picture of the puppies first meal. NOT to my surprise, Faith is featured in many of the pictures! It looks like she is trying to move the other puppy out of the way. That's my chow hound. :-)

Time to Rest

Usually when I pull into the drive way I am greeted by dogs that are very happy to see me. (I know it is really because my arrival home indicates it is meal time.) Sometimes all four will greet me and sometimes it is just Cammie and Faith. But lately, it is has been just Cammie. Faith is now content to stand inside the kennel and watch me drive up the driveway while Cammie dances and barks with excitement. Faith’s pregnancy has definitely zapped her energy and limited her activities but she is still happy to be with her pack. Here is a picture of Faith resting with the pack.

the Whelping Pen has Arrived

Helping Paws delivered and set up the whelping pen today. Much to my surprise, Faith was\is interested in it. Three times in the past few hours I have caught her checking out the pen. Walking around it, walking into it and smelling it. Here are some pictures:

After putting up the pen, it was time to take a good look at Fatih and see how she was doing. Hmmm. She seems to be larger than expected. Definately larger than the Director of Programs thought she would be. Maybe even larger than cheers with 3 weeks to go. Here is a picture to show her size. I'll let you be the judge.
